Are we too busy working for our clients to fix up our own website?
Yeah, kinda.

Patient zero. The opening act. Manatee Creative's first collaboration was a 74 page quantitative thesis on logo redesign with our very own frameworks, formulas, and models. Thankfully for you, dear reader, we boiled it down into a slightly more digestible infographic. You're welcome.

So, what's all the fuss about? Over a thousand survey respondents, 16,083 data points, 2 different languages (we got to show off our French), and 15 different football teams. For a bachelor's thesis you can get pretty decent results with that kind of sample size. And decent results we got. Using statistically calculated coefficients we magicked together our own model that shows how much a logo has changed as a percentage. This helped us categorize rebrandings from minor to major. Then the 1008 participants shared their thoughts on the rebrandings.

 

It turned out quite well if we do say so ourselves — or if you ask the examiner that gave us the A.
